Just wondering if anyone knows the situation regarding Swiss bank accounts if you are a UK resident.

I am a Swiss national about to draw a Swiss pension and would like to have it paid into a Swiss bank account.

So far, I am told that I can only open one if I have CHF50,000 to invest!

If anyone has any info. on the intricacies of the Swiss banking system, I would be grateful.
